Hi, my name is Shirley Robertson and I would firstly like to thank you for stopping by. I’m new to blogging, but inspired to start this when my hubby started having heart problems and as we found out later, is hereditary on his father’s side of the family.

It all started early 2019, with high blood pressure, combined with poor nutrition, being overweight and the lack of exercise. It’s been a journey not only for him, but the whole family. It gave us all much to think about when it came to our health and well-being, the type of foods we eat, how much we exercise and how we take care of ourselves.

As we go through life, we tend to put our own health on the back-burner, putting everyone else, their needs and wants first and it’s only when you get a shake up, that you sit up and take notice.

I hope to continue blogging about healthy living and eating alternatives, how we can utilise the natural resources mother nature provides us and looking at other ways to keep us healthy, rather than with pharmaceuticals.

I hope this can be a platform for sharing with one another and through our shared experiences we will all learn and grow together. I look forward to hearing about the changes you have made or are making, why and what steps you have taken to achieving your goals to a healthier you.
